The Pro-Mod series builds on Charvel's longstanding high-performance guitar design excellence legacy. It offers the most up-to-date technology and features for today's players. The San Dimas(r), Style 1 HHFR M is a great instrument for high-speed, dazzling playing. It has a scorching sound, striking style, and a grin-inducing playing experience and performance.
The body is made from alder, and it is coupled with a bolt-on maple neck and a pair of graphite reinforcement rods that resist stretching and warping in the face of environmental stress. The speed neck profile allows for fast playing and unhindered position changes. While the comfortably rolled fingerboard edges give the instrument the familiar feel that it has had plenty of use and is still in good condition, the speed neck profile can be used to play quickly and with no lag. The maple fingerboard measures 12-16 inches and features 22 jumbo frets with black dots inlays. It also has an adjustable heel-mount Truss Rod for quick neck relief.
The high-output Seymour Duncan (r) JB and Seymour Duncan (199) humbucking pickups mount directly to the body. They produce a high-octane, rock 'n roll tone with many sweet overtones. The volume control hides a push/pull coil split to offer more tonal variations. The no-load tone control functions as a standard tone control, but it is removed from position ten to let the guitar's natural voice shine through. Floyd Rose(r), 1000 Series double-locking, tremolo bridge system allows you to dive into the murmuring depths or add a rising harmonic without having to sacrifice your tuning.
Charvel's Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 H FR M formula is very simple. This superb solidbody electric guitar is hot-rodded for maximum performance. It features a curvaceous alder physique with familiar contours. Premium appointments include a maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement, a smooth compound-radius maple fingerboard featuring rolled edges and jumbo notes, and a silky smooth maple fingerboard. This San Dimas has a Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo, which allows you to flutter, warble and dive-bomb without restriction. The guitar is complete with two hot Seymour Duncan coil-split humbuckers. The Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1HH FR M guitar is suitable for all music genres.
Seymour Duncan Humbuckers Offer a Take-No-Prisoners Tone
You play the notes, and Seymour Duncan's humbuckers take care of it. The neck of the '59 SH-1N humbucker can be found in this axe. A JB TB-4 can be found at the bridge. The '59 features a full low, slightly scooped middle, and gently boosted highs. It is ideal for rhythm work and jazz and blues soloing. The JB is Duncan's most beloved pickup. It is a great bridge pickup for blues and fusion as well as country, thrash rock, punk, grunge, and hard rock. The JB's low end is rich and full, while the highs are clear and detailed. The upper-midrange bump adds bulk and crunch to heavy chords. This translates into a singing, vocal-like sound when you solo. All the while, the amp's hotter output pushes it just a little harder for more sustain and harmonics.
A Variety of Single-Coil Tones
Pro guitarists love the classic '59/JB' combination. Pro-Mod San Dimas Style1 HH FRM mixes this potent sonic elixir via a 3-way blade switch and a volume knob with push-pull coil splitting. This allows you to play a variety of single-coil tones. The no-load tone control works in the same way as a standard tone pot, but it is removed from the circuit at position 10 for sonic transparency. This allows the instrument's natural voice to shine through. The tone is delivered by the truckload with the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1. HH FR. M. This is the perfect accessory for music with an aggressive edge.
