The Morning Glory is undoubtedly our most well-known overdrive pedal, winning more awards and receiving more accolades than any of our other designs. We worked hard to make it one of the most transparent overdrives out there. When you want to add some mid- to low-level grit to your crystal-clean tone, use the Morning Glory. When you want to boost a crunchy tone into thicker sustain, use the Morning Glory. When you need to add tube-like touch response to a less-than-ideal amp, use the Morning Glory.
JHS SuperBolt V2 Overdrive Pedal
When we released the Superbolt in 2012, we never dreamed that it would become one of the most recognized and distinguished pedals in our history. Turns out there are guitarists all over the world that are loving the sixties-era Supro amp-in-a-box tones that this pedal churns out. In designing the Superbolt, we paid very close attention to the feel and sound that made the original amps the go-to combos for players like Jimmy Page, Brian Setzer, and Switchfoot’s Drew Shirley. And with the SuperBolt Version 2, we’ve upped the ante by giving you access to our versatile Gain boost circuit via the front-mounted toggle
JHS The Bonsai Overdrive Pedal
In the late 1970's the overdrive pedal was arguably perfected when Japanese engineers designed the sound that we now know as the heart and soul of so many of our favorite artists, recordings and sounds. Players ranging from The Edge, Trey Anastasio, Buddy Guy, Kirk Hammett, John Mayer, SRV, Carlos Santana and thousands more from every possible genre have utilized and depended on this classic iconic green box. If a single effect pedal was chosen to board a Voyager 3 mission and be solely responsible for showing the universe the sound of overdrive, it would undoubtably be Tube Screamer. It is probably the most produced and sold pedal in the history of guitar pedals! The Bonsai is our tribute to one of the greatest pedals ever created.
JHS 3 Series Screamer
The 3-Series Screamer is a brand-new $99 pedal based on the popular JHS Tube Screamer "Strong Mod." Josh spent years tinkering with the iconic Tube Screamer circuit and wanted to make those adjustments available in a more inexpensive packaging. More clean headroom, greater boost use, more adjustable drive and tone settings, and a more attractive frequency response are all included. This Tube Screamer could be the most well-balanced on the planet, but that's up to you to decide. The 3 Series Screamer requires 12mA and runs on 9V DC negative center power.

The JHS Prestige buffered booster pedal is a simple yet powerful stompbox that looks great and adds three valuable tools to your pedalboard. The knob can be adjusted to between 0-25%, and the Prestige buffered boost pedal acts as a straight up buffer. This compensates for high frequencies that are lost due to long cable runs or unbuffered pedal circuitry. It's similar to adding new strings to your guitar. Guitarists use the 25-50% range to enhance overdrive effects and add a punch to their solos. The Prestige can be pushed past half-way to create a sweetening drive, which is perfect for driving low-watt tube preamps past their breakup point.
This pedal is a great combination of a buffer with high headroom and boosting. Direct descendant of the long-discontinued Mr. Magic foot pedal Easy operation with a pedalboard friendly design and one-knob operation The transparent buffer of 0-25% compensates for the loss in high-frequency from long cable runs. 25-50% increases the tone/gain, making it perfect for solos and preloading overdrive effects. Clean drive of 50-100%, pushing tube preamplifiers past the breakup point with ease
