The SE Hollowbody II Piezo blends a hollowbody instrument's balanced, clear, resonant tone with the power and stability of a solid-body electric guitar. The SE Hollowbody II Piezo features a maple back and top with mahogany sides for a light shimmer and snap in a stylish packaging. In a hollowbody platform, the 58/15 "S" pickups produce clarity and balance that sound powerful and melodic. LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system installed. The piezo battery is fully bypassed when utilizing the magnetic output connector in isolation, functioning as a failsafe (in this scenario, the magnetic pickups still work even if the piezo battery has run out of juice). This SE instrument is the most versatile in the Series' nearly two-decade existence.
